The Fourth Watch of the Night

It's interesting in Matthew 14 Jesus finds out that his cousin John the baptist was beheaded. He still spends time with the 5000, and even goes to the extent of feeding them.  Then in the evening he finds some alone time in the mountain to pray. He then goes to see the apostles in the "fourth watch of the night" ie: between 3-5am. I find this very significant.

S. Michael Wilcox has an audio talk about the fourth watch of the night. Also I believe Richard G. Scott talks about it when discussing when we are most likely to receive revelation.

When I go to sleep and early around 9 and get up at 5am I feel amazing, and am able to study the gospel even more deeply.  It makes my whole day better. I have more self control worth everything.   But you cannot burn the candle at both ends.  If you want the benefits of gets revelation early you have to sacrifice and go to sleep early.

I have had more than one experience where I have woken up from a dream with a feeling that what I received was revelation.  I felt the need  to write my inspiration down.  It has always been in the fourth watch of the night. I know this principle is true!!!
